Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Maqbool' completed 20 years. It was the first film in his Shakespeare trilogy, starring Irrfan Khan. Kamal Haasan was almost signed for the film, but there was a conflict in the vision. Naseeruddin Shah didn't refuse to work in 'Maqbool' with Kamal Haasan. The trilogy also includes 'Omkara' and 'Haider'.
