Janhvi Kapoor has finally addressed the abrupt shelving of Dostana 2, a film she was set to star in alongside Kartik Aaryan and Laksh Lalwani under Karan Johar’s production banner. In 2021, rumours surfaced about Kartik’s 'unprofessional' behavior, which reportedly upset Karan Johar. These rumours led to the actor's exit from the project. Subsequently, Dharma Productions issued an official statement indicating that the film would be recast.
